Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Dersapp uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. No third-party tracking code is loaded. The only cookies we use are the ones that keep you signed in.
1. Cookies We Use
The two cookies below are strictly necessary to provide the service. Both are set as httpOnly, so JavaScript in the browser cannot read them, and in production they are sent over HTTPS only.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| tf_access_token | Session identity — carries which account you signed in with | Short-lived, renewed automatically |
| tf_refresh_token | Re-opening your session, so you are not asked for a password on every page | 30 days |
2. Browser Local Storage
Not a cookie, but one preference is kept in your browser's local storage: dersapp-panel-theme holds your light/dark theme choice. It never leaves your device and is not sent to the server.
3. Why You Are Not Asked to Consent
The law does not require prior consent for cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the service. The two cookies above are exactly that: without them signing in is technically impossible. If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, your explicit consent will be requested before they are set and this policy will be updated.
4. Blocking Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies above are strictly necessary, blocking them means you will not be able to sign in to Dersapp.
